Australians Already Overseas
Australians remain an adventurous lot and the 'right of passage' as it is
referred to, of doing the big OS trip and going on a working holiday
continues.
Then we
have our own people whose insurance has lapsed and they need cover to head
home, or perhaps they have discovered the 'free' credit card travel insurance
does not cover them.
Or we have
those that forget to get insurance before they left Australia or remembered
just as they boarded their overseas flight from Australia (yes, even I did it
once) .
We have
been fortunate to have our insurers hear your needs and provide us with 2
types of policies to assist Aussies already overseas .
1. Those
who are Returning to Australia, they will cover you , some up to 12 months,
but you must be arriving in Australia on the last day of that policy.
2. Those
who are say on a 3 year working holiday and are seeking cover over 12 months
to use for those jaunts on those special fares that are offered ex UK as an
example.
We are
unable to provide Travel Insurance for Australian residents who commence and
end their policy in overseas ports (eg start trip in Japan and go to Europe
and US and ending their trip back in Japan).
